Lewis D. Fox and his wife traveled extensively around the country and photographed the places they visited. This digital collection represents a small percentage of photos of that Fox artfully arranged and preserved in 53 albums. He took pictures in most of the major cities in the United States, but he focused a great deal on Fort Worth and its local culture. For example, there is an entire album dedicated to the first year the Fort Worth Frontier Centennial and the birth of Casa Manana in 1936. Other subjects covered in the Fox albums include the Stock Show, parades, rodeo, baseball, racing, cinema, stage productions, Rotary Club conferences and numerous road trips to a variety of locations.
