The Bohemian was the quarterly publication of "Our Literary Club in Bohemia" or the Bohemian Club. The club was organized April 21, 1898 at "The Nest" on the corner of East Belknap and Harding streets in Fort Worth, Texas. The object of the Club was for the self-improvement, mutual benefit and development of Southern literature. The club met every second and fourth Fridays at "The Nest" in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henrie C. L. Gorman. The motto of the club was: "The fruit of my own pen is my offering." The Bohemian includes historical articles, poems, photographs, short stories and other literary efforts. Members comprised many prominent citizens of Fort Worth including B. B. Paddock, Judge B. R. Webb, Judge C. C. Cummings, Dr. J. L. Cooper, Fanny L. Armstrong, D. S. Landis, J. P. Brashear, J. T. Brantley, and Rev. Homer T. Wilson.
The collection consists of five volumes and one souvenir edition. For faster loading and viewing, the volumes have been divided into 25 page increments.
